Every time I sit down to watch a little TV, that’s just what I get – a little TV, mixed in with a LOT of political ads. Most are for the Republican candidates, and I’ve begun to notice that they are all alike: Horribly negative, overly dramatic, and with little or no actual content. Other than slamming their opponent and the President, they never SAY anything.
I guess that’s why they got tossed out in the first place – they had no idea of how to fix the mess THEY created. They still don’t. Oh, they say they will eliminate all of the things the President has done over the past two years, as if that caused the problems. But they don’t come up with one positive, creative idea of their own. For the past two years all they’ve said was “NO!”
Well, after the midterm elections, we’re going to really get to see governing by “NO!” up close and personal. Brace yourselves.
