I think little Sarah Palin is going to have the last laugh. We all know that the good ol’ boys in the Republican party will NOT let her run for president. Not on your life! But at the moment, she’s the only Republican stirring up any excitement across the country. So the GOP is only too happy to let Sarah continue to tour and speak. At least it distracts from the negative Party of NO image.
Sarah is touring for a reason, and that reason is to make money. She’s very much in debt from her legal fees, and remember – NO ONE in her immediate family has a job. It could be that the only steady income is the check her daughter gets from Levi Johnson for child support. So Sarah has “written a book” (wink-wink), and is speaking to Republican gatherings all over the country. Both give her an income – a nice income. And she’s holding out for a cool million for her reality show.
So in the end, Sarah will not be President of the United States, but she will go home with a lot of money, and she will have had her more than 15 minutes of fame. And the GOP? They’ll still be frantically looking for a candidate who can get elected.
